Walking on Water by David Mach

This collage was designed by the artist David Mach in the year 2010.

It’s part of the Precious Light, David Mach’s exhibition at the Edinburgh City Art Centre exposed from the 30 July to the 16 October 2011.

Today it’s exposed in a museum in Manchester.

I think it’s an original idea to include in this blog a piece of work of an artist which is not so famous like David Mach. This shows people a different perspective and view about the save-guard of  water and the issue I’m trying to spread in my local community and between my target-audience. This painting represents God walking on water. He’s surrounded by many objects and another men which today is the symbol of modernism. The boat that is nearly drowning represents the negative side of life and the situations you live or have to get through.

I hope, you reader can appreciate this painting and comment below for any ideas or improvements to make this blog better and express your feeling regarding the issue. If you wish, you may also post the website or any other source link for a painting or a collage or other types of art which are similar and regard the water topic.
